Ray and
I have planned another trip. We are leaving Vancouver on January 17 arriving
Sydney on January 19. We will stay with our friends in Sydney until March 1
approximately when we will rent a car and drive to Adelaide. In Adelaide we
will take a 10 day camping trip with Intrepid Travel across to Perth arriving in Perth
on March 18. Then we will fly to Borneo for a 12 day trip in Borneo to see some orang utans and climb Mt. Kinabalu ending
April 6, and from there fly to Bali on April 7. We have a house rental in Ubud from
April 7 through till May 24. We fly back to Canada leaving Bali on May 26, with
a stopover in Hong Kong to stay with a friend for the weekend. We leave Hong
Kong on May 30 and fly straight home to Vancouver.

There was an earthquake on Mt. Kimbalu last summer. Too bad you missed all the excitement! The trail reopened in December. Some outfitters are more reliable than others according to: http://notesofnomads.com/climbing-mt-kinabalu-on-a-budget/
